
My Story and What I Do
Dr. Genevieve Kumapley (aka Dr. G) is an innovative Social Entrepreneur with tremendous experience as a Certified Leadership Coach, Trainer, Speaker with the Maxwell Leadership Team. She is the Founder and the Executive Director of MyGOAL, a 501 c(3) non-Profit organization in the United States that supports families facing Autism access therapies, programs and information about autism spectrum disorders. She is also the Founder of Haven International, the global organization that provides services for individuals with intellectual disabilities including Autism and other developmental disabilities and trains teachers and other professionals to provide special education services in Ghana Africa.
Dr. Kumapley received her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree with Honors from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Kumapley is a Board-Certified Oncology Pharmacist and leads as a Pharmacy Residency Program Director and Manager of Clinical Pharmacy Services in a hospital in Northern New Jersey. She is an Adjunct Clinical Professor with Rutgers University Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy. She serves on several boards including her role as Founding Vice President of Touch Link and as an advisory board member of Devereux New Jersey and Children’s Specialized Hospital. She was an NJLEND Fellow (New Jersey’s Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities) a program of The Boggs Center on Developmental Disabilities, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School; a graduate of the New Jersey Partners in Policy Making and a Fellow of the Rutgers Institute of Ethical Leadership/Prudential Foundation Non-profit Executive Leadership Fellowship program. She has completed a Mini-MBA in Strategic HealthCare Management Program with Rutgers University School of Business.
Dr. Kumapley is an Associate Pastor at Agape House of Worship Family of Churches in New Jersey. She has received awards for her leadership and service from several organizations including the 2013 Role Model Award from the Roselle Branch of the NAACP, 2016 Nassan’s place outstanding community service award, 2018 Social Stewardship award from the HealthTrust University, and 2018 Outstanding Community Service Award from the Ghana Association for Medical Aid. She is a co- author of 2 books, “7 Principles to Developing and Maintaining Your Passion, a book anthology, Network to Increase your Net worth and her chapter is titled, No Passion, No Gain. She has been featured in several TV and Radio Networks including Ghana TV, NBC, ABC News and NJN. She is happily married over 27 years to her husband, Robert and they have three children.
